Incompatibility with WP v5.5+

  • Good evening,
    It seems this plugin doesn’t work anymore since WordPress v5.5

    Now, when a user fills in one of our forms created and managed with Contact Form 7, he never gets the confirmation message that should appear pushing the submit button.
    Instead of that, the arrow keeps rounding in circles close to the submit button.

    The mail with the info collected in the form arrives instantly, but as users don’t get that confirmation, they usually start over again and submit the form multiple times.

    We’ve tried deactivating this “Lead info with country for Contact Form 7” plugin, with no other changes apart from that, and the confirmation message has appeared in its place.

    Hi @carlosparamio.

    This has nothing to do with WordPress 5.5 as we are using it on several sites with this version.

    When something like this happens it has normally to do with a plugin update that conflicts with ours.

    Do you have a staging site where we can see the problem and inspect the Javascript errors? If this is not possible, please inspect the JavaScript errors to identify any conflicts.

    We’ve tried deactivating every plugin except “Lead info”, but we haven’t checked activating it but not the rest. Shouldn’t take too long.

    Today, we have tried activating only Contact Form 7 (v5.2.2) and Lead Info (v2.2) and the result is the same, the arrow keeps rounding in circles.

    Nothing too serious, it was just about having some statistical data.

    We’ll stay tuned and will try again later.
