    Hi,

Seems like there is an incompability with this plugin. With it, one can create additional selectable options on a product, such as
    – Size or color
    – Custom name for printing/embroidering
    etc.

I found out that when using OceanWP, the custom add-ons (options) created do show up on the product page, but these options don’t get added to the cart, and subsequently to the order. I confirmed this by switching to the Storefront theme and then adding a product, the custom add-ons selected are then added to the cart (and stay there if I switch back to OceanWP without clearing the cart).

At first I thought this was something that had to do with the AJAX add to cart option but that is not the case. Even with AJAX disabled, seems that OceanWP uses a non-standard way to add products to the cart (or the YITH plugin uses a non-standard way to add that information to the cart) thus causing the problem and making these options unusable.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

I also looked in all CUSTOMIZER options and the SCRIPTS & STYLES section to see if there was a setting to “revert” to the default add to cart behavior, but no luck.

Hello, if you want to disable the Ajax add to cart button for the single product, it is via the WooCommerce > Single Product section of the customizer.

    Thanks for the tip.

I disabled AJAX via Woocommerce settings but that didn’t seem to affect OceanWP. I ran through all Customizer screens and found nothing, so I thought it was really disabled

And today while thinking about your reply, something else came up. What if there was some problem with the translation? And indeed there was… AJAX options were translated as something else, no wonder I could not find it. So now I disabled it and now the YITH plugin is working as expected.

Still, I think it should work with AJAX enabled.

But now, how can I contibute some translations?

Hello, there are two ajax, the Ajax for the shop page is via the WooCommerce setting and the Ajax in single product come from OceanWP, and you can disable it via the WooCommerce > Single Product section of the customizer.

To translate the theme, you need to use poedit and translate the pot file if your language file is not present in the languages folder of the theme.
