Hi @ricarod To confirm, you’re trying to restore a site on CloudWP and it’s giving you this error?

What we’ll want to do is:

    1. Make sure the backup we are working with was created successfully on the original server. Where the backup was made, go to Total Upkeep > Tools > Logs. Find the log for the backup in question and make sure it ends with [2020-**-** **:**:** UTC] Backup complete!
    2. The 2nd thing we want to check is that the entire backup was uploaded to the new server. If the backup is 200MB on the original server, make sure it is exactly 200MB on the new server.

I believe we’ve spoken before @ricarod, so I think you may know how to do the above. If you can, please share what you find regarding the above and we’ll be ready to review further.

    Thanks!

Thank you, Brad, yes we talked before. What I am trying to do this time (is a different case than before) is clone the site to a ‘stating’ in your cloud WordPress service.

That said, that back up was right (except that did not seem to have included the DB) and the error message that I am getting is in your cloud service when trying to restore it from the DOWNLOAD LINK generated by your app.

    Does this makes sense?

I can give you access to the site if you’d like, I started paying your cloud service in order to do things right.

    Hi @ricarod,

It seems like the error might be related to our Cloud system and we are more than happy to help you get things working correctly! However, we will need to shift our discussion off of these forums since we cannot troubleshoot premium products through www.ads-software.com.

Could you send a message to [email protected] and reference this thread in it so we can continue troubleshooting the issue and figure out why the migration isn’t working as expected.

Thank you for your understanding while we get this sorted out and we look forward to hearing back from you soon!

Thank you for sending us that video @ricarod and I am sorry to hear that there are some problems posting a reply to that thread in our support forums.

Are there any errors shown in the browser console when trying to submit your reply to the original ticket?

Our support portal at boldgrid.com/feedback is managed by a third party and any additional information you can provide us on this situation will help us get this sorted out with their team.

    Hi @ricarod,

Our Community Manger Jesse made a video for another user demonstrating how to get additional error messages from the browser console and I am linking the YouTube video below as a reference.

Could you send us any error messages that are shown in the Console when trying to submit a response? Thank you again for your understanding and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
