Incompatible with Block themes

    Hi all,

    I’m facing an issue with WP Delicious and Block Themes like Twenty Twenty Four.

    Published recipes are not displayed with the template selected in the website editor if a block theme (e.g. default theme: Twenty Twenty Four) is selected. Instead, the ‘single-recipe.php’ template of the recipe plugin is used and cannot be customised. The same can be observed with other block themes.

    I tried to create a custom template in the website editor using a block-theme for the Custom Post Type recipe, but that didn’t work either.

    I have used the What the file plugin to check which template is loaded.

    If you use a theme like generatepress, the recipe is displayed correctly. (The plugin template is also loaded, but is compatible with this type of theme)

    I have not found any solutions in the documentation or in the support forum. There are also no settings for compatibility with block themes in the plugin settings.

    It currently looks like block themes are the future of WordPress – it would be very good if the plugin supported this type of plugin.

    Our team had done some compatibility to make it work with Block based themes. We plan to release in the next update.

    If you are interested to test it out and check the compatibility with your theme, please reach out to our support team for the beta version.

    If there are any issues, our team will fix it before releasing the update.
