    Dear Developer,

I think your plugin is incompatible with the?GenerateBlocks plugin.

If I create a new page and add a GenerateBlocks container to this new page with a background image from the Media Library, Better Search and Replace won’t replace this image upon running.

Strange that within the Block editor preview window, the image will be the new one, but the old one on the front end until you update the whole post.

Is it something to do on your side, or is this some GeneratePress bug?

    Best regards,
    Gergo Simko

    Hi @simkog ,

Better Search Replace Support Team here. Thanks for reaching out with your query, we would be happy to assist!

I looked into this, and I think it’s because GenerateBlocks also stores an image’s ID other than the background image’s URL. See screenshot below:

Better Search Replace can only replace strings that you search for, and so it doesn’t replace the image ID unless you run another search for it.

I think it will be best to also contact the dev team of GenerateBlocks to confirm this behavior. Perhaps they also have a filter where a background image’s ID is not saved in the post content.
