Affiliate referrals are not registered

    I am using this affiliates plugin for a while and it has always been working perfectly.
    Now I noticed that since nov 17 2021 orders coming from referral pages are not being registered anymore.
    Registrations are being registered, but that is it.

    I have checked everything. There are no updates to be done, my Woocommerce and WordPress versions are compatible, every setting should be OK, PhP is ok, …

    Does someone know what the issue may be?

    Happy new year and I trust you are well and safe!

    The issue most at times is as a result of caching implementations on the site. Caching can interfere with the system’s ability to correctly recognize affiliate links. Hence, referrals might not be recorded.

    I would like to recommend you, check the troubleshooting section here. The troubleshooting section provides you with common issues/conflicts faced and how to resolve them.

    It is also worth mentioning that you can check the debug.log for errors logs.

    Hello,

    I have checked the troubleshooting section and done everything it says to try, but it hasn’t worked.
    I haven’t checked the debug.log yet, I am not that handy on that part.

    So it is not resolved just yet, but I will keep trying.

    Hi,

    I have checked everything again.
    The ‘Affiliates’ plugin registers new accounts that are created, it registers ‘traffic’ and it registers ‘visits & referrals’. It does not register the referral that needs to be made when an order, linked to an affiliate, has been placed. This is going on since November 17 2021.

    In the phpMyAdmin, under wplm_aff_referrals, no referrals are registered.

    I have checked the debug_log and there is nothing mentioned about this ‘affiliates’ plugin.

    My WordPress and Woocommerce integrations work as it should and have no caching plugins installed.

    It seems that it is the ‘affiliates’ plugin that isn’t working as it was before.

    Can you please help?

    Good morning and thank you for the feedback.

    Considering you have tried troubleshooting the issue to no avail, the error might be related to plugin or theme conflict. In this case, please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    It is also worth noting that, though the debug.log might not contain any entries related to affiliates plugin explicitly, there might be other errors logged that do affect the functionality of the plugin.

    Furthermore, please ensure you have the latest version of Affiliates and WooCommerce Integration installed.
