Incompatible with the Pro version!!

My client spent hours building a Team with 54 members then paid for the Pro version but the free and Pro versions are not compatible with each other. We are told she will have to rebuild the whole Team from scratch now! We only bought the Pro version because an update to WP has made it impossible to rearrange the Team members now. Complete waste of time and money.
