Could it be that the better font awesome plugin is (partly) incompatible with WooCommerce?

When I add the shortcode in the description of a WooCommerce product, the icons do not show.
But when enabling the product tab in Woocommerce tab (making the description show in a tab on the page), the icons do show.

Is this related to the plugin or possible the theme (MyStile from Woocommerce)?

    Hi WP Fan,

What you’re describing definitely sounds like a WooCommerce issue, not a BFA issue. Not to pawn it off on WC, but BFA just outputs shortcodes, and what you’re describing sounds like WC simply isn’t rendering shortcodes for the field/output combination you are describing. This is not that hard to fathom, given that certain outputs would really only look good (and/or make sense) with simple text, and rendering shortcodes in these fields might not reliably work.
