I have never used this plugin, but I just upgraded to WordPress 4.0 before I went looking for 3D model viewers. This looks like a great plugin, but using the short code I get nothing (the code [model_3d ...] just shows up as plain text in the post).

When I go to edit the plugin I see four files (index.php, readme.txt, jsc3d.js, and editor_plugin.js). The first two show “active” next to them and WordPress displays the full Kento 3D Model Viewer plugin as activated, but when I click to edit the other two files (the two js files), they show “deactivated” next to them.

So I’m guessing this is just some incompatibility with v4.0, and WP is disabling the js files? Or maybe I’m missing something? (I’m new to this.)

    Thanks!

I figured out my problem, the documentation said the syntax is [model_3d ...] but by using the 3D button to insert code in the editor I see the correct syntax is [kento_3dmv ...]. Now it works perfectly, thanks!

    worked for me too, thx!
