I’m rating this as incomplete because there are too many things the author wants you to hand code.

When you dive into this you’ll find a poorly maintained shortcode instructions page.

For instance: you’ll want to link your author’s name to their author page and
the instructions tell us the user_link method is the new way (old way deprecated) when, in fact that is just the opposite.

Dive a little further and you’ll find the very simple things you expect are not even shortcode options but bits of slapdash code.

    Nice effort but very disorganized.

A bit of a lie too, because the image on the plugin page leads you to believe the results are nicely formatted when they are not.

I’m bound to get the “send us your URL” type reply.

You don’t need my URL, install it and try walking through the shortcodes to make it look like the image on the plugin cover page.

    Thanks for the feedback

I will check the instructions and update (yes I haven’t looked or check for a long time)

Try the shortcode creator that we add to the tinyMCE tools as this created correct shortcodes (sounds like I need to signpost this better)

What simple things do you feel are missing?

I have always struggled how much formatting to include with the plugin veers letting the theme control the layout and not break any previous install with any change

Thank you for your reply! I will check into the shortcode creator in the tinyMCE.
