Inconsistencies in mobile menü

    Hi,

    I don′t know if you can replicate these 2 problematic behaviors in the mobile menu:

    1.) Sometimes sub menus not opening, when clicking the “plus” button. Plus button changes to minus button but sub menu not opening: This behavior occurs sometimes and sometimes not. I tested it with a fresh installation and on two different projects. I tested it on a smartphone and on desktop with dev tools of firefox and activated the “touch simulation” in the “mobile view”. Everywhere I am getting the same behavior. Sometimes submenu “tries” to open (has a small stuttering while trying) the plus sign changes to minus but submenu is still closed. I think u can reproduce that when u play long enough around with the opening buttons and open and close different submenus multiple times. This seems not to happen when using mouse without touch simulation.

    2.) Submenu opens on touch AND scroll on “plus” buttons: U can reproduce this as follows:
    1.) start scrolling in mobile menu while on “plus” button
    2.) scroll up or down
    3.) release the finger somewhere (finger is should not be on the same spot (plus button) anymore)
    4.) submenu will still open although releasing the finger on a total different location then the plus opening button
    This is also reproducable in dev tools of firefox with “touch simulation” on, in mobile view simulator. I think this happens perhaps due to an event handler that doesn′t handle this job good. The event handler perhaps needs to be changed to a “click” handler. At the moment it could be perhaps a “mouseup” eventhandler!?

    I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and could not see it on my end. Also, we haven’t received any similar reports so far.

    Kindly share a live URL from the issue. Also, kindly provide us with your system environment information. If you’re running Elementor, navigate to Elementor > System Info in your WP dashboard. You can send the information as code here or upload them to https://pastebin.com/ and get an exclusive link(without changing).

    Please Note: To see your changes on your website, if you use any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them, and use hard-refreshing keys and recheck the issue.

    1.) You can see while touch and scroll, the menu will still open, also happens on smartphone / touch devices.

    2.) You will see that menu gets “stuck sometimes” this happens when menus get open/closed fast, also sometimes randomly even no action on menu happened for longer time. Then opening and closing can also get “stuck”.

    Here my system environment, but as I already told you, this happened in fresh installations and also completely different devices and on different browsers and hosters:

    The issue you described has not been replicated in any of our test environments, and we have not received any similar reports.

    However, it can be a cache or third-party plugin(s) conflict, for troubleshooting, please do the following steps:

    0. Enable the primary theme(if you are using a child theme).
    1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Plugins.
    2. Deactivate all plugins.
    3. Then, first, activate the Ocean Extra plugin.
    4. Check your issue.
    5. Then, activate your plugins one by one
    6. After activation of any plugins, check your issue

    Note 1: You can try troubleshooting on the staging website/or on a fresh installation.

    Note 2: If you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes. Also, remember to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools(if you have Elementor).
