Inconsistent display across platforms

Forgive me as I spend very limited time in website building/maintenance. I upgraded the plugin and I could not get my exiting slider to display on my homepage. I created a new one (because editing the existing one did not work) and updated the page with the reference for the slider. Now, if I look up the page from my cell phone, the slider shows. Any computer browser does not show. What am I doing wrong?
