    Full course price £97
    Coupon value 90% discount.

Message in Coursepress at checkout ‘coupon succesfully applied’ Price £10
Checkout and taken to Paypal where price shows £9.70 instead of £10 (and £9.70 is correct, but the two figures should be consistent for customer confidence).

After Paypal customer is returned to CoursePress where message reads
“the coupon previously applied to your cart has been removed as it is no longer applicable” and that ‘your Paypal order of £0 is complete’.

Customer can then access the course.
However, they have actually been charged the full £97. Not the £9.70 they should have been, nor the £0 they were told they were.

Note: In separate thread noted that sale option doesn’t work either.

I am using latest versions of CoursePress and MarketPress on a near clean installaton of WP4.0 (only Askimet added)

Odd way to “support” customers when you are launching a new product.

Guess I’ll just have to find a different product.

    Hey freebird,

    Apologies for the delay here!

More than happy to help you get this sorted if you’re still interested ??

I tested this out on my install and I’m not able to replicate it, it showed 9.70 right in the cart for me not 10.

Do you mind sharing your coupon with me and a link to your site so I can test this out. Are you in PayPal sandbox or live?

    Cheers,
    Tyler

Seriously – a week to respond to a help ticket?

Tyler, you’re trying hard to resolve the issues I have, but whoever is running the show is going to lose customers with this approach to support.

    Hi @martin,

Thanks again for your patience previously. Unfortunately, we had a massive influx of support requests through our premium forums recently thus why there was a delay here. I hope you’ll understand, we do our best to assist as quickly as possible though our premium forums do take precedence.

And thanks for providing that link, I went through the payment process up til PayPal and got the following screenshot:

Could I ask for you to confirm that amount seems correct (sorry there is a currency conversion there) and that you’re seeing different?

    Thanks,
    David

As per my original post at top of this thread, that price is correct and is what I saw at that stage. However it is not what the customer was actually charged, nor what Coursepress indicated post payment (see original post).

I understand premium takes precedence, but you’ll never get new premium customers if they try the free service first and experience this. It’s also worrying that you have so many support calls, does this indicate the premium products have lots of problems too?

    Hey freebird,

Did the most recent version resolve this or are you still having the issue?

This was actually due to a lot of new members signing up over Black Friday weekend ??

Talk to you soon freebird and apologies for the delay!

    Cheers,
    Tyler
