inconsistent results

My CPT posts are not expiring. I noticed other CPT-related tickets but they seem to be related to categories and I’m not using “Default Expiration Category”.

WP-cron is enabled. When I set a date the entry appears only sometimes in the Current Cron Schedule. And even when it does the post doesn’t expire. The debug log shows the entry but it’s always “no error”.
