• Hi there,

    Firstly-awesome plugin. Just what I needed…. ALMOST!

Is there any way this plugin can be used in conjunction with wordpress image galleries?

My site makes use of galleries to display my images side by side, but for the section showing my before and after images, I now need to have them display one below the other. Even though it does its job, it’s a bit out of place in my current site structure. See: https://www.anthonypeyper.com/retouching

Also as I am hiding the scroll bar below the images, the finger on drag/slide option would be amazing for mobile (rather than touch/click)… as discussed in a previous post.

    Thanks you and kind regards,
    Anthony

    Hello acp73,

No, there is no way to use it with the internal gallery. Can you describe the feature in more detail?

The drag/slide idea is a great idea and we already have this on our road map. But this will propably still need a lot of time, as want to change our plugin “business” model first.
Using Envato we can’t really generate a significant income with our WordPress plugins. So one part of the plan is to provide our pro versions for free here and let users directly contribute via Github and just donate/ sponsor if they want…
But still needs time for the transition.

(Instead of 900px I recommend to use a variable value, i.e. 80% to have better support for smaller displays)

    Hi Adrian,

Thanks for your detailed reply. Future plans sound great – specially for us struggling artists ??

And thanks for the tip of using a percentages – it makes perfect sense.

So basically when I use my images in a standard wordpress gallery, the theme arranges the images into a slide show with next/back buttons. (Ideally I would prefer a horizontal scroll with lazy load but I couldn’t get it to work).

So I would like the before/after slider to work in a similar way, but I would need to use the gallery feature, which obviously doesn’t work. You have any ideas how I could make the images appear horizontally (side by side) rather than vertically (below each other)?

Thanks in advance and all of the best with your future development with this plugin.

    Regards,
    Anthony

I’m still unsure, but try to use a smaller width, like 49%. Generally b/a sliders should be 2 in a row then.

For the standard gallery: disable the theme feature if possible ??

Thank you! On this page I’m not using page templates (if that’s what you mean).

I was just wondering if it’s possible to make ALL slider images appear next to each other rather than beneath each other. Though I’m guessing this might be a (horizontal) theme feature rather than a plug-in feature.

something like this on the page:
    image1>image2>image3>image4>image5>image6>etc (scrolling left to right)

    rather than:
    image1
    image2
    image3
    image4
    image5
    image6
    (scrolling top to bottom)

I think i’m getting way off topic though. My head was just running away with my thoughts.

    Appreciate all your help.
