    I’m having an even more basic problem inserting a graphic into a post. I put the full path to the image in the field
    “Insert/edit image
    Image URL:

    but even if I put the image in the root folder and then define that direct a path, I get a broken image icon, not the image.

    As an experiment, I even copied the above image file path and tired to isnert it into a post on my own site – and got the broken icon. But clearly, to me at least, that image should have appeared in the test post on my site.

    Is there perhaps a CHMOD issue on my blog?

    It’s very simple! When editing your post, just set the picture to align to the right.. Or to the left according to your preferences..

    You do it in the “Alignment” drop down menu..

    Continued: You may wanna ad some padding to img in your css afterwards..
