Incorrect Catergory Colours + Not Working Leged

We are sorry that the category colors are not displaying as intended for you and we’ll definitely look into it!

With that in mind, the link you provided does not seem to display the calendar at all, making it harder to pinpoint the issue.

I believe you can get the calendar up and running again by changing the template selected for events under Events > Settings > Display.

Usually the Default Events Template solves that issue.

Thank you for your reply – I have tried switching this over and I have also tried changing themes as I have seen that as a recommendation amongst other threads – here is the correct link; https://dickybeachsurfclub.com.au/events/month/ my apologies.

Thank you for doing that.
I believe the issue is due to a conflict with your caching solution (I am not exactly sure what that is).

We are currently working on different variation of that specific issue.
Thank you for your patience as we are doing this.

With that in mind, there are a few things you should try (it might actually fix things for you):

• Take a look at the following guide and make sure that your caching plugin is configured as per its dedicated Knowledge Base article
• Make sure your cache expiration is not longer than 12 hours (especially for nonces).
• If you are using the SG Optimizer plugin, you can try temporarily disable the Remove Query Strings from Static Resources option

Last but not least, if all of this fails, you can downgrade to version 6.1.3 of The Events Calendar temporarily (until we release a more permanent fix)

Hi Geoff,

Thank you so much for your response – I have cleared all my caches and checked over that article. Remove query string that was already turned off. I have also gone back and installed the previous version yet I have still had no luck. I have also tried changing the page type so you will find the URL to the page is back to the original slug of just /events.

Would you happen to have any other suggestions?

Thank you for testing things out.

The next step would be to test deeper for conflicts.
We usually recommend doing this on a staging site.

I would definitely spend some time playing around with different caching settings (starting by disabling it completely). But this is just intuition at this point.

If none of this works, you might want to take a look at the PHP version you are using. I would recommend PHP 8.0.x.

Let us know if you can pinpoint the cause of this strange behavior.
