• Editing this review after an initial bad experience.

Due to errors in the plug in code, our members were charged earlier than we expected and this has unfortunately cost us a few hundred pounds in fees and corrections. Its disappointing that it happened but it does seem as though the developers fixed this within their code after the complaint was made.

There are also a few simple missing features that make the plug in harder work than it really needs to be. We are fortunately able to change members payment date manually in our Stripe account, but this doesnt correlate to the website and there is currently no method to change this which is disappointing. As a paid membership platform we are reliant on manually extending peoples memberships occasionally and its disappointing that we cant do that seamlessly. Customer payments can be held or paused but unfortunately accounts do need to be manually reinstated as ARMember suspends them as soon as the original payment date comes along.

Over all the support is there and they do offer guidance and support when a problem arises but the process is extremely slow. Sometimes barely 1 message a day is exchanged and this means that some problems can take over a week to be fixed.

Other than these snags, its an okay plug-in. It does work overall for what we need it to do, but this is massively thanks to the paid addons.
I just wish they would put a little more into some simple features that would make the back office experience much more user-friendly and more suited to the day to day running of a subscription business.
