    Hi,

    I have a couple of orders in a webshop where customers used a coupon for 10% discount. The total amount is showing correct on the invoice but the discount is incorrect.

    Woocommerce order prices are correct. Created a ticket with WooThemes but they say problem is with the plugin.

    Example. Order total is €305,-, discount of 10% should be €30,05 but the invoice states €35,79. Total amount is €274,50 which is correct.

    Hello Jaap,
    Since you have a modified template, you’ll have to contact the person that made the modifications in the first place. The Simple template and both the premium templates show the correct values out of the box.
    If you need support with the Modern template and your license has expired, send me an email at [email protected] and I’ll give you a link where you can renew your license.

    You can also email me your modified template so I can take a look to see what’s wrong.

    Hi Ewout,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I disabled premium templates plugin and reverted to the standard invoice. Discount is still showing incorrect. (also after clearing cache).

    any ideas?

    No, in that case it must actually be a WooCommerce issue. Can you test by creating a new order with a discount? The discount value should show up exactly like on the order edit page.

    Ok, thanks. WooCommerce edit order shows correct discount but in WooCommerce default emails it shows incorrect discount.

    Back to Woothemes :-/

    Hey Jaap,
    Did you ever sort this issue out? One of my client’s sites is having the same problem: correct discount total on back-end order, but incorrect on customer invoice e-mail. I too received the same, unhelpful responses from WooThemes.

    My advice would be not to mention this plugin altogether or at least make clear that it’s also happening in the default WooCommerce emails, even with the PDF Invoice plugin deactivated.

    Apologies Ewout,

    To be clear, I did not use WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin on this particular site: the issue does seem to be with WooCommerce.

    That said, if anyone has any advice and/or has experienced the same issue, please email me.

    No worries, I was actually referring to communication with WooThemes, since you said you receive the same unhelpful response (the WooThemes response to Jaap was “problem is with the plugin”).
