Incorrect display on Chrome

Hello and thanks for this lovely theme.

My site is https://www.machinesandwords.com.

It displays correctly on Firefox and IE. On Chrome, there are 2 problems:

1. Slider image #2: The description text appears wider
2. The TG:Services are broken onto two lines

What I have tried already:
1. Deactivated all plugins (since it didn’t help, I reactivated them)
2. Made sure the Featured Images were 150px wide
3. Ran HTML validation removed H1 titles that were returning errors (since it didn’t help, I restored them)

I went through 23 pages of the Themegrill support forum and have googled, but am still unable to fix the problem.

Can anyone give me a clue of what to try next?
