Incorrect File Permissions On Plugin Activation

    Hi,
    I am on SiteGround hosting. The say that their default permissions are 755 for folders, and 644 for files.

    When I activate the plugin, I see that all folders that belongs to plugin (fvm folder and subfolders) are 754 , and website looks broken if I don’t fix the file permissions manually.

    I asked the siteground technical team and they told me that I should contact with you about this. So what do you suggest ?

    The file permissions are replicated from the uploads directory. Is your “uploads” directory chmoded 754 or owned by another user?

    If not, the server has some sort of umask being applied to new directories being created.
