Played around a little with the free Smush plugin. Turned on both the Incorrect Image Size Detection and Lazy Loading features, and found that Smush showed that front end images were all sized properly.

However, when I turned off Lazy Loading, all front end images were highlighted in yellow around the edges. The Incorrect Image Size Detection side bar showed all images were too small at 0 x 0 pixels, although they all seemed to be displayed just fine as before.

Why is this? What does Lazy Loading have to do with Image Size Detection? Reactivating Lazy Loading showed all images properly sized again. Does the Incorrect Image Size Detection feature simply not work when Lazy Loading is not active?
