A meeting is listed in the back end of the meeting plugin, and properly pointing to the church where the meeting is located.

However in the front end it doesn’t display the correct location on map, even though it shows the proper street address.

Any idea why this is happening?

    Thank you,

Hm, this is a tricky one because Google is confused about where 185 Main St is. They think it’s where the public page is displaying it: https://www.google.com/maps/place/185+Main+St,+Freeport,+ME+04032/@43.8469297,-70.1150332,18z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x4cb27e22554cc525:0xb2aad6cf7d94360a!8m2!3d43.8468291!4d-70.1140622

We added a special override to the plugin to move the address for you, not sure why it’s working on the inside but not on the public page.

I’d try re-pasting the address exactly: 185 Main St, Freeport, ME 04032, USA and hit update, and hopefully it’ll work?

I did just try it on my local development site and the pin is where you want it to be https://imgur.com/EvYOHDF

I think it was working before on your site, not sure why it stopped. Let me know what happens

C/P the address does work. However, when I upload my .CSV file with updates it breaks this address and maybe others. I need to re-copy and pate the address to set it right.

I’m not sure what’s causing this.
I would send my .CSV file, but I don’t see an upload option.

Can anyone tell what is causing this and how to avoid this?

The problem is Google search unfortunately. Even though they know the correct address if you search for First Baptist Church, they don’t know the correct address if you search 185 Main St.

The override we created for you does not appear to work when importing from CSV. Does your CSV have a Postal Code column with the ZIP in it and a Country column with USA? You could try that, not sure if it will work.

The other thing you could do is try downloading the CSV, that will have all the address fields combined into a formatted address column which may work better for you.

Ultimately the plugin isn’t designed for constant uploads. It will work fine if you were to simply manage your meetings inside wordpress and not reupload them from a file. I understand that would involve changing your workflow, which I’m guessing is the way it is for printing?
