Incorrect Name and bio on Author page – Broadnews & WP Post Author

  • Currently using Broadnews (v3.0.2) with WP Post Author (v3.5.1) and Word press (v6.2.2)
    I have co-authors enabled.
    When I go to the author page the name and bio info at the top of the page reflects the 1st co-author listed on the post, not the person I’ve selected
    For example our podcast host can be found here https://warroom.armywarcollege.edu/author/ronald-granieri/
    His name is never at the top of the page. It’s always the latest guest on the most recent episode. His info, like all of our authors/contributors is completely populated on their user data page.

    Thanks for the quick response and update. The author page now reflects the info for the correct author.

    The only issue is that it looks like you’re referencing the “Display name publicly as” and “Biographical Info” fields.

    It would be even better if you referenced the “Title to use for Author page” and “Meta description to use for Author page” fields.

    Regardless, I do appreciate the update and quick response.
