Incorrect/outdated prices, if not using VPN or WP admin

  • Hi there,

    Prices in Woocommerce were updated some days ago in Alidropship plugin pricing formula.

    Since then I can still see old/incorrect prices on all browsers (Brave browser showed correct ones for a while and now even this one is back to showing old ones). Sometimes, when I open the site, I can see the flickering of updated/correct prices for a second and then they go back to old ones.

    Prices always go back to updated ones as long as I enable VPN or in case I’m opening the site from my wp-admin.

    I did clear all cache and cookies in the involved browsers.

    I hope to get some assistance as I’ve been playing with all possible settings and excluding plugins for a week. Still no luck.
    Is my IP somehow blacklisted on the Woocommerce side? Why is VPN doing the magic? I just ran out of ideas. The system status and URL are below.

    Hi there,

    The symptoms you’re describing sounds like a textbook case for caching although it’s difficult to say for sure from our side as we have no examples of a product where you’re seeing this.

    In order to troubleshoot this further, please do the following:

    • Share a product URL where you’re seeing different prices than expected
    • Share a bit more on what price you have configured and what you’re seeing on your side

    Hi,

    Prices of all products are currently incorrect. I’ll share the URL of one of the products anyways, since you need it https://bohesse.com/product/two-layers-leather-bracelet/

    The price formula was configured in Alidropship plugin. It pulls AliExpress prices and you can mark up in this plugin. This always worked fine.

    It’s supposed to do a fixed markup assigned to certain product categories. For example, in my case – Jewelry +$22, Watches +$32. There’s also a setting to round prices to .99 decimal. So all prices have to look like for example, 18.99 or 20.99 etc., i.e. ending with .99. None of this is correct at the moment. No .99 rounding and the markup is way over from what’s set. Sometimes, before the page loads, I can see a quick 1 second flickering of correct prices, but then it changes back to incorrect.

    Since last configuration prices went incorrect in most browsers. The only browser that shows correct prices is Brave browser (only on desktop version, mobile version is still incorrect).

    Also, as mentioned before, prices go correct on any browser IF I enable VPN.
