Incorrect permalink!

  • I had sent this as an email support but after several days of follow up, during which time Elvis said he will get back immediately, I did not get any solution to this.

    I used the code from the stackexchange post (https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/188738/56503).
    I added the code to functions.php and in the attachment template, I
    added a line of text that said “you are viewing this image of ….
    from echo get_parent_post_anchor(); gallery.

    This text would appear on all the attachment pages like this –

    But this hyperlink that appeared only shows
    ?foogallery=<gallery name> rather than showing the actual permalink
    of the post where the gallery is located.

    How can I get the actual post url?
