    Hello,

The thousands separator in my country is a period (.) and Google Merchant Center is translating that as decimal separator.

    How can I solve that?

    Thanks in advance.

How is it setup in your product feed?
Is the price correct in the feed? The same as on your website?

The price is correct in the feed, and it’s the same as on mi website.

    <g:price>1.190 ARS</g:price>

Problem is, Merchant Center is translating that into $ 1,19

    @gmr1970,

I expect that you did not add the decimals in Woocommerce.
So 1.190,00 ARS would be clear to Google what it means and it will see the price is 1190 ARS

    Hi,

I have the same problem as the gentleman above.
The thousand separator in my country is a period (.)

Product price is 1305 kr, and is entered into Woocommerce without any comma or period.

Ends up as 1.3 kr in Google Merchant Center.
Price in the feed is 1.305: https://ibb.co/JnpQKjT

The price will follow the settings in Woocommerce.
So Check again the Currency options in Woocommerce settings page.

WooCommerce > Settings > General > Currency Options

Make sure you remove the thousand separator than you will be safe.

    Hi Auke,

Thank you. I can confirm this solution works.

I found that the best way to go about it is to use a space (” “) as the thousand separator instead of “.”

I tested this by uploading the feed again to Google Merchant Center, and it seems like Google accepts this.

Perhaps a solution for this would be good for the future. For those (Italy, Spain, Norway, Netherlands(?)) who use “.” as thousand separator, this can easily go unnoticed when you have a large product catalogue, leading to incorrect pricing in Google. After all, (to the best of my knowledge) it is the default setting in Woocommerce when your language is set to one of the above.

Yes, it is a default setting in Woocommerce.
There are others having this issue even though some will set this to the correct settings of their country and lose the . thousand seperator.

Thanks for confirming that the issue has been solved.

    Hi all,

I changed the code so that the feed process will remove the thousands separator from currency values (in the feeds) when the user has a period as thousands separator and 0 number of decimals in his/hers WooCommerce settings.

This should prevent accidentally having incorrect values in the feed caused by the situation mentioned in this topic.

This change will be implemented as of version 1.21.0 of the free version and 2.11.0 of the premium versions.
