Incorrect sender's reply-to adres is being sent

    Hi,

    I have installed Postman on my multilanguage site. I am managing the multilanguages with the WPML plugin. On my product pages I use contactforms created with Contact Form 7. Postman works great on the default language (Dutch) pages but something weird happens on the English pages.

    When sending an email from the English pages the email address as entered by the sender is not being sent correctly. When I receive the emails in gmail the sender’s reply-to address is the reply-to email address that is set in Postman’s Advanced settings. Thus my own email address. So, I have no way of contacting the sender.

    I have checked the settings of the Dutch and English contact forms in Contact Form 7 settings and they are both the same. I have no clue how to fix this. Hope you can help.

    Hi,

    Fixed it. The English contact form did turn out to be different from the Dutch ?? In Contact Form 7, I added “Reply-To: [your-email]” to the Additional Headers section. Works fine now.

    Ok, glad that you got it sorted out!

    I like to use Reply-To: "[your-name]" <[your-email]> as the reply-to header for Contact Form 7 myself.

    Would you be willing to help with the Dutch translation for Postman?

    Hi Jason,

    I am not using Contact Form 7 however am using a WordPress builder called cloud-press.net.

    The contact form they have doesn’t allow for much tweaking.

    After installing your plugin, I am now able to receive emails at my Gmail account via Gmail SMTP. When I click “reply” to the contact form email, the to: address is my email address and not the customer’s email address.

    Any guidance on how to default the customer’s email would be appreciated.

    Abandon their Contact Form for a good one, like Contact Form 7. Contact Form 7 allows you to set the Reply-To header as I’ve posted above, so when you reply to the email it is addressed to your visitor.
