Facebook -> home page instead of blog page
Twitter and email -> title of first article of blog page and link to homepage, instead of blog page

Hi,

You would like to try enabling Sassy Social Share - Floating widget from Appearance > Widgets page. After that, disable all the page groups you have enabled in Placement option in Floating Interface section at plugin options page.

floating is now enabled and floating widget i also have disabled all placements
but problem is th same

i noticed twitter and email is different from non floating

Then it is because the home_url() WordPress function is returning the url saved in Site Address (URL) option at Settings > General page in admin area which is https://www.karatecolombes.fr/, not https://www.karatecolombes.fr/blog

I’m sorry but https://www.karatecolombes.fr/ is not the same page as https://www.karatecolombes.fr/blog

if i change this in settings -> general, my blog page (page of articles) does not exist anymore.

how can i fix this ?

maybe using is_home() and is_front_page() to get the correct url and title ?

I’ve found a workaround using jetpack visibility : i have duplicate the widget and hide one if page is “blog” page, and show the second one only if page is “blog” page with a custom url.

It works for facebook, but not totally for twitter and email, since the url is correct, but not the title (still showing the first article title, not page title)

Okay. Undo your workaround and replace existing wp-content/plugins/super-socializer/inc/widget.php file with the file at following link:

Hello, i have install the super-socializer plugin, and configured the widget on this specific page (i also replace widget.php) :

https://www.karatecolombes.fr/blog/

now the facebook share url and title are the one of the first article (not the blog page url and title)

Same thing for twitter and email. And the FB count seems incorrect (i used https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/)

PS : language french is not working (“Share(s)” instead of “Partage(s)” -> languauge is the same than sassy : fr_FR
