Incorrect Shipping Cost Conversion
-
Hello,
I’m experiencing an issue with YayCurrency where shipping cost conversions are incorrect, even though product price conversions are accurate. Here’s a detailed overview of the problem:
- WooCommerce Setup:
- Base currency: USD
- Flat-rate shipping: $10 (as an example)
- Problem:
- The product prices convert correctly to other currencies (e.g., 1 USD → 0.9584 EUR or 1 USD → 7.5 KR).
- However, the shipping cost is not converted accurately. Examples:
- $1000 shipping → 9.22 EUR (should be ~9,59 EUR).
- $1000 shipping → 511 KR (should be ~71,52 KR).
- Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
- Verified the exchange rates used by YayCurrency, which are correct for product prices.
- Confirmed no taxes or additional fees are applied to shipping.
- Tested with both automatic and fixed exchange rates; the issue persists.
- Reviewed WooCommerce flat-rate shipping settings to ensure no unexpected adjustments.
- Observation:
- The issue only affects shipping costs and occurs across multiple currencies.
Could you please clarify if YayCurrency handles shipping cost conversions differently? If so, how can I ensure the shipping cost uses the correct exchange rate like the product prices?
Let me know if additional details or screenshots are needed to investigate further.
Thank you for your assistance.
