    I have tried different collations in a database, but this is not the problem.
    Your answer also does not solve the problem, but I understand if you do not create a JS library.

    Hi,

    this is totally unrelated to the database collation, as the sorting is done in the browser/client using JavaScript, and not on the server/database.
    As mentioned in the other thread, this would require a custom sorting algorithm, but as I’m not the DataTables developer, I just don’t know how that would have to look like. Sorry.
