    Howdy Nick,

You should try changing this constant. That will likely fix your issue.

    Cheers!

thanks Brook, that has suppressed the double heading on the page. Thanks so much. Any thoughts of including these settings within the “settings” page in the dashboard instead of having to modify the config directly like this ?

That’s not a bad idea at all. That particular setting is cleverly hidden, heh. It can cause issues on some themes though, so we were reluctant to make it prominent. I will pass your feedback on to the team.

If you ever want to make an official feature suggestion like this, please checkout this page: The Events Calendar: Suggest a feature

    Cheers!

I have just realised that its now worse than before, The “events” list has now dropped the header title for the 1st event + the page title now. Whats the fix for this one?

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues. Unfortunately, it looks like a theme conflict and we are limited in providing support on that.

I would look into removing the constant you added and then hiding the double title with css. That would be the easiest method to fix this.

Or you can look in your theme for the_title(); or get_the_title(); and see if you can not run that on Event Pages using a conditional.

    Cheers

would this be fixed under a support contract? even say providing a tag such as [events-cal=all] which could be embedded in ANY page ?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, we do not offer support contracts for customization, 3rd party theme conflicts, and 3rd party plugin conflicts nor does purchasing a license entitle you to any of that support.

We do have a list of conditionals that might help out:

    https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/2415009

You can use one of those to prevent the function from running on event templates.

Sorry to here that unfortunately, that is the only way to make this modification.

was this not a valid suggestion/enhancement i mentioned earlier ? providing a tag such as [events-cal=all] which could be embedded in ANY page ?

    Hi,

We are looking to add shortcodes for the main event views, but it is not something we can turn around quickly and I do not have a timeline when that might happen.

There is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has shortcodes in it:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/event-rocket/

    That might help you out.
