• I have noticed that the plugin is not counting the post’s word count correctly.

On the posts WP admin table I have noticed that I am seeing a lot of “Rejected” in the “Microsoft Start publish status” column and hovering over them gives the “Article length must be a minimum of 450 characters.” message. However, all of my articles average 1800 words using the WP editor’s word counter.

Could you guys go over the logic for this feature again and make sure you’re doing this correctly.

(Also, there is absolutely no reason why your entry (Microsoft Start) in the admin menu should be before the default “Dashboard” entry.)

    Hi @w33zy ,

Thank you very much for your feedback! We would like to understand more about the situation you mentioned here to provide you timely support. Firstly on the word counts, we are sending the full content from the “output of RSS feed” and calculate the words by a remote service. Please check if there’s any limitation or configuration that blocked us pulling the entire article body. If you still cannot fix this, could you please provide more information e.g., your website URL, brand name through our support so that we can better troubleshooting for your specific issues? Our support can be reached at [email protected] or “Contact us” in Microsoft Start Partner Hub.
