I keep getting the following error when I submit a Contact Form 7 form from PayPal – “The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount.” Cannot find anything in the docs about this problem. Has anyone else have this problem? Thanks!

    Hi,

Double check to make sure your amount is like “99.99”. Currency signs and other characters are not allowed for the price.

    Thanks,
    Scott

I am still having problems with this same message. I am working with a radio button as shown in the documentation at wpplugin.org. I try to save the radio button in the price code. Am I limited to hardcoding one price on a 3 button code? Thanks!

I tried sending the form leaving the price code area blank. It worked. I will rewrite the form with the radio button. Will let you know how it goes.

    Hi,

Are you using the pro version? With the free version you can’t link a radio button to the price.

If you want to post a link to the page on your site I can take a look for you.

    Thanks,
    Scott

I was working with the free version. The workaround that we did was use one of your other PayPal plugins (PayPal Buy Now Button) and simplified. One Button for each item. There were only three items so it was doable (no shopping cart). Thanks for your help Scott! I will change my vote.
