Incorrectly redirects to /language/en/ on Nginx.

We moved a website from an Apache setup to Nginx and now we have this problem where going to https://www.example.com/en/ redirects to https://www.example.com/language/en/ which doesn’t exist. It seems like this is some kind of rewrite saved in wp_options but that doesn’t work? I don’t know exactly how WordPress uses these but Nginx works well otherwise, with permalinks and all.
