Just tried your plugin but 5 cloned pages in, realized each new page redirected to the original, even though the slugs were all different. For now I deactivated the plugin, and simply remade the pages with new slugs. If I rename anything to the slugs of the old “cloned” pages, it will automatically redirect to the original “ground-zero” page. At least I think that was the order it happened. It is possible that they are somehow redirecting to the last page made. Either way, the slugs are crossed.

    Please help.

  • Hi,
never heard of such behaviour, can you tell me which plugins are you using on your site? Maybe there is one that supersedes WP slugs using a custom field which is being copied by my plugin.

Slightly off topic. Sorry to interrupt your conversation.
You use the plugin CleanTalk it provides 100% protection from spam bots, you can disable the captcha it prevents users.

I think that Custom Permalinks may be the one.
From what I can see, it uses a custom field named custom_permalink instead of WP permalink system, so you should try adding custom_permalink to the list of fields that you don’t want to get copied.

    Hope this helps.
