Increase in plugin requests.

    Noticed a little while ago that the plugin is generating 100’s of extra requests on my site. When I do a speedtest, there are literally about 400 extra redirects and requests made from my site. When the plugin is disabled they are gone.

    Does anyone know if this was always the case? Or is this something that just cropped up? Have not noticed this before. Slowing my site down to the point where other resources are timing out. No good, will have to disable and remove if that is the case.
