Increase number of featured posts in twentyfourteen?

    Hi, I have searched this and it seems the only answer was to use the “TwentyFourteeen Extended” plugin, which is now unavailable and no longer supported.

    Any way I can do this? Ideally I would like all my posts to just appear in this format, ie from page with lots of posts in a grid three posts wide.

    Anyone got any code I can add to my recently set up child theme?

    Any ideas?

    Trying to get lots of posts on the front page, 30 would be about right I think

    I have tried changing the max featured post number in the functions php from 6 to 9 or 12 and it doesn’t work.

    Managed to find the TwentyFourteen Extended plugin and install it OK but doesn’t appear to be a way to increase featured post number…….oh dear.
