Increase Page Speed

    Hey there,

    I need help increasing my page load speed. This afternoon I have tested Page Speed and got results between 8-9 sec. Then I installed WP Super Cache and that improved it to 4-5 sec. I then went on to Optimize my Page with the WP Optimise PLugin. I tested again and now I am getting results between 12-14 sec. I am not too familiar with that stuff so I am going to need some help. I was hoping to find someone who can give me advice on how to get my page load faster.

    In addition to many other factors, slowness could be due to:
    – Lots of images can cause slowness.
    – Also images loaded without compression.

    WP Super Cache good (which you have already installed).

    I use only two plugins to optmize/speed up sites: Autoptimize and WP Super Cache.
    I see you’re alreday using Jetpack’s Photon option to speed up image delivery.

    Yes, trying not to have too many things as well. Also used WP Smush which I have deleted again but Images are all optimized. My problem is that I don’t understand the load times going up AFTER Optimizing.

    Ok I just realized that the speed test was different in one point. I must minimize redirects. Apparently I have three redirect chains that I should remove. When I goad loading results of 4 sec this wasnt the case. How does this happen and how can I remove these chains?
