    Hi.

I want to have a product with an additional feature; if a buyer adds a feature, the price increases. But I don’t want the price to be $100-$130 like it is in variations.

For example, let’s say the product itself costs $100. But there are options to add and each feature has a different price: feature 1 = $20, feature 2 = $30, and so on.

And if a buyer picks the feature 1, the product will cost $120. However, you can buy the product without features.

    is it possible in Woocommerce?

  • Not with the default WooCommerce unfortunately.

Have a look at any of the ‘product options’ type plugins – there are a few free ones on here but I use: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-extra-product-options/7908619

@seank123 so, there is no free way to do it?

    Hello @lashac

This is not a default option with WooCommerce. However, you can use a plugin such as Product Add-Ons.

With this, you can offer special features or extras for your product and charge an additional cost for each add-on. For instance, feature 1 could be an additional $20, feature 2 an additional $30, and so on. This way, if a customer selects feature 1, the total price will be $120, just as you described.

This is not a free plugin, however, all extensions sold on WooCommerce.com have a 30-day refund policy. Feel free to test it after purchasing. If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund by contacting support at WooCommerce.com within 30 days.

For free plugins, you may explore the WordPress repository.

I hope this information is helpful.
