Increase spacing after "Continue Reading"

Hi,

Right now when I click “Continue Reading”, it will lead to the page of the article but a few lines will be cut off. I did this through the “Insert Read More tag” and was wondering how can I change it so when I click “Continue Reading” on the homepage it will lead to the correct paragraph without cutting off some lines?
