• Does anyone know if it is possible to increase the value of the FcgidMaxRequestLen directive on my dedicated server (Apache) without root access? Please note I am using a 1and1.co.uk managed dedicated server so do not have root access. This is mod_fcgid configuration so I don’t think I can do this via a php.ini file.

Reason for needing to do this: I need to increase the maximum HTTP request length to avoid a “HTTP error” message I’m getting each time I try to upload an image using the WordPress Media Uploader (WP admin > Media > Add new).
