Increase width of slider, transparent box

  • Hello people,

    I am still new here, but Customizr is the best to begin from. Firstly, for fully customizable layout and great attitude.
    From me one question: what is the easiest way to increase width of slider on front page? I have inspected place with firebug but everything I see is size of my uploaded picture.
    Maybe someone could say where in .inc folder I can set properties of slider size?
    Also, how I can set properties of grey transparent box in slider e.g. make it 100% transparent, or disable it?

  • I’d suggest you update to 3.2.1 as Nic has added a whole load of new goodies around the Header.

    Is there any way to change height of the slider just going to wp-themes folder in file manager of host account? There it is .inc folder which has all kind of .php files. I was looking in the code but find only the height and length of default slider. Question where is slider’s dimensions described.

    There are new features in 3.2.1 dealing with Slider height.

    Do not play with those core files else you’ll lose stuff at next update. Use a Child Theme.
