Increased subscriber display per page– Gateway Timeout

  • I was trying to increase the subscribers I can view per page and went to: Newsletters > Subscribers, clicked the top right Screen Options, opened it and set 999 as subscribers per page.

    Now when I try to go to that page I get a 504 gateway timeout. I’m trying to figure out how to set my subscribers per page display back to 88 as it was but can’t get to my subscriber page now at all. What should I do?

    If you can access the database, the value is stored into the wp_usermeta table, in a user meta with meta_key = edit_per_page.
    So, you can update it with a query like:
    UPDATE wp_usermeta SET meta_value = 88 WHERE meta_key= 'edit_per_page'

    Otherwise, you can put the following code for a while inside your theme functions.php:
    update_user_meta( 1, 'edit_per_page', 88);
    (change the first argument, 1, with your user ID).
    Visit the blog once and then remove the line.
