Increasing number of warnings about googlebots

Experiencing an increasing number of warnings of ‘this may be a “WordPress-speicific SQL Injection Attack.” ‘
The IPs are US IPs. such as: Host : crawl-66-249-72-156.googlebot.com
I considered that they might be spoofed IPs, but not convinced.
Any thoughts???
