SPAM makes everyone’s lives difficult. It used to be that your website could just send out email and it would get to the intended recipient. Then you had to start authenticating your email address by supplying a username and password. Of course, if your WordPress website is hacked that username and password can be stolen. So, Google and others now have us go the OAuth 2.0 route.

However, you connect to your outgoing email provider this plugin is amazing. It gives great feedback if there is a problem and completely raises the bar for authentication methods. Thank you so much to Jason Hendriks for writing this plugin. It’s a tremendous resource for the WordPress Community.
