I have a CPT set as hierarchical and the parent / child relationship works as expected except for the admin view all post-type list does not show the children attached/intended under the parent.

How can I make this happen?

    hey @ebud

You mean you’re not seeing what’s in the screenshot below, for your CPT?

Unless you’re doing a lot of heavy customization of things in the admin area, or some aspect of your CPT settings aren’t quite right, all of this should be pretty automatic and handled by WP core.

We don’t do anything with CPTUI that would change the listing setup of posts.

Thanks for the feedback. I am not doing any customization in the admin area and when I test it out using “Pages” the indenting works.

When I originally created the CPT hierarchical was false and now there is a need for children so we enabled hierarchical and page attributes… could this be an issue?

    Anything I can check?

potentially yeah. Biggest things to do would be to make sure hierarchical is true, and page attributes is checked. Then just go set the relationships afterwards.

All good, I toggled the hierarchical attribute and it works.

    Thanks for your time!
