    Hello,

I’m seeing this error message in the logs while updating to the latest version:

WordPress database error Index column size too large. The maximum column size is 767 bytes. for query ALTER TABLE wp_shortpixel_postmeta CHANGE COLUMN size size varchar(200) made by activate_plugin, do_action('activate_shortpixel-image-optimiser/wp-shortpixel.php'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, ShortPixel\Helper\InstallHelper::activatePlugin, ShortPixel\Helper\InstallHelper::checkTables, dbDelta

Is this a known issue with that version, or related solely to the MySQL server configuration?

    Thank you.

    Hi Marcus!

I believe that’s related to the MySQL server configuration, because it’s the first time we hear about this and the update was released 3 weeks ago.

Not sure if this will help, but I found this page here. Maybe you can contact your hosting provider and let them know about it?

    Thanks!

Thanks @sixaxis─I’ll see what they can do.
