• Hello All. I have never had this problem before. I created a page to be used as “home” and one for the “news”. I set reading settings to be set as a static page using home and then news for the blog. you go to the url and get the header and that’s it. Click on the home page from the navigation, and get only the header. Can anyone help?

  • Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Did you add any content to the “Home” page?

    it has to be something in my theme. It works when using a different theme. Yes, i did add content to the “home” page. Any suggestions on where my theme may be awry?

    It’s hard to say without seeing the site we’re talking about.
    Maybe there’s a setting in your theme to select the home page ?
    Let me remind you that if you don’t use a WPORG theme, we can provide any type of support for it.

    it’s a custom theme. The website is lyonsoftware.com. I’m comparing files now to see if it’s missing something essential.

    if you look into the html code in the browser (a standard troubleshoting step if something is not showing in the browser) you will see this error message:

    <img src="<br />
    <b>Fatal error</b>:  Call to undefined function  of_get_option() in <b>/home/lyon/public_html/wp-content/themes/Lyon_Software_2013/front-page.php</b> on line <b>14</b><br />
