index of /blog

  • Greetings,

    I installed WP to public_html/testsite. (Testsite is a subdomain) I also have an empty folder within testsite called blog. I went into wp-admin and changed the url settings to https://www.testsite.com for the wordpress address and https://www.testsite.com/blog for the site address.

    When I goto https://www.testsite.com, WP displays correctly but if I click on the Home tab, I get the message “index of /blog” with “parent directory” listed below. When I click on “parent directory, my homepage displays.

    I must need something in the blog folder or URLs need adjusting in the WP files. What have I left out?
